Yael Stein was born in Australian who has been living in New York City since 2013, played Lorna Morrello in Orange Is the New Black. Yael graduated from NIDA. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael was delighted to find her new home when Brooklyn Academy of Music, where the show played with high praise, was her new home in New York City. Yael was co-founder of The Cannery.
