Sutton Foster is an award-winning artist, performer and dancer who has been featured in eleven Broadway shows - most recently the revival of Violet and also played lead parts in Broadway performances that include The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and her Tony Award-winning performance in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. The first time she appeared on television on Star Search at age 15, and has more recently performed on Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU and Royal Pains. As a solo artist, Sutton has performed across the US in addition to internationally along with the musical direction of Michael Rafter... featuring songs from her first solo CD "Wish" and her follow up CD "An Evening with Sutton Foster: Live at the Cafe Carlyle." She has graced the stages of Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, the Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub as well as many more. Sutton Foster was awarded an honorary doctorate degree from Ball State University in 2011. She is also part of the faculty in Ball State University as a instructor and advisor for dance. In March of 2015 she has been a part of TVLand's new series "Younger" developed by Darren Star.
